Sovereign Path Fund takes the platform fee, pays the investment manager (PeerPoint Funds) a maximum of 2% for managing the assets, pays for operational costs and capex, and sends the remainder back to you as a dividend payment.
If you wish to continue to maintain control of the operations of your firm, you may elect to do so. Each firm maintains its own compliance regime and continues to be a separate employer. The fund blocks itself from voting on operational issues barring extreme circumstances. You retain what feels like full ownership of your firm via control of its operations and cash flows.
Once the successor takes over your firm, they would pay 30% of revenue for the first 10 years as the platform fee (their financing cost) while they accrue equity in the firm they took over.
